These are some easy-peasy onion rings! And might I add that they are healthy too! It only takes 3 ingredients + seasonings, and viola! You have onion rings. I love these because I enjoy eating something guilt-free that I normally would hate myself for eating because of the large amounts of grease it usually carries. I am sure kids will love ‘um too!

Baked Onion Rings
- 1 or 2 medium yellow onions -depending how many people you want to feed
- (I used 1 onion for the two of us)
- 1 egg
- Italian bread crumbs
- Any extra seasonings you would like to add to the bread crumbs. (like pepper, garlic powder, chili pepper etc)
Preheat your oven to 350 degree F
Cut your onion, so you get the rings intact.
Prepare for tears!! It’s inevitable. I once tried wearing goggles while cutting up a bunch of onions, and I still cried (even as my boyfriend took a picture of me in my nerdy-ness). Your best bet is to make sure to breathe completely through your mouth and not your nose.
Scramble up your egg in a bowl and pour some of your bread crumbs in another.
Separate your onion slices into rings and dip each one into the egg, then the crumbs, then lay them on a cookie sheet.
Cook for about 20 minutes, or until they are browned. Make sure to flip them over halfway through cooking time.
Eat with ketchup, ranch, or even just plain- which is the way I like them
