My name is Tessa and this is my food blog. Cooking is basically my favorite hobby of all time. Eating home-cooked food is pretty fun too, especially when you can enjoy it with the company of other people.

My idea of a good time is spending hours in the kitchen cooking up something new or fancy for my husband and myself to eat. Some say that Matt’s a lucky guy (and he is, duh) but the thing is, I really like to eat my own food – he’s along for the ride.
You will find lots of healthy recipes on this blog. Many are my own creations, some are alterations from recipes I’ve followed and ALL are delicious. I love cooking for the two of us but I also love to entertain and cook for friends and family. Check out the entertaining section for some of my favorite appetizers, sweets and large meals.
Eating healthy is good for your mind and body. So is taking a step back from the stresses of life as often as possible. We both have desk jobs during the week and sometimes things can get pretty stressful. The best times are when we take vacations and travel. We absolutely love traveling together and I absolutely love sharing our experiences. “But this is a food blog,” you say. “Healthy for Two” is not only about eating healthy, but keeping your mind and sanity healthy too. For that reason, I post about traveling sometimes too.
